Charging Policy Drop in Sessions in July

12:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Information sessions have been set up to explain more about how the HSCP charging for non residential care policy will work when it is due to come into place next April.  They start on June 30th at Eastwood Health Centre 12pm till 4pm

Then throughout July drop in sessions will take place:

  • Eastwood 

          Mondays –  7th,  14th,   21st,   28th

          Eastwood Health and Care Centre

         12pm till 4pm

  • Barrhead

          Wednesdays –  2nd,  9th,  16th,  23rd,  30th

         Barrhead Health Centre

         10am till 1pm

The Money Advice and Rights Team (MART) will be on hand to advise on the financial assessment process, and HSCP, Carers Centre and SDS Forum staff will also be in attendance to answer any questions you may have. You can pop in anytime between these hours.

A mix of options 1, 2 and 3

You choose more than one of the other 3 options and decide how your support is arranged.

Option 3

Direct Service

I let the HSCP decide how to spend the money

The council will choose and arrange the support they think is right for you

Option 2

Individual Service Fund

I tell the HSCP how to spend the money

The council or an organisation of your choice holds the money, and you oversee how the money is spent.   

Option 1

Direct Payment

I get the money to spend on the support that I choose

The council pay money directly to you, and you arrange your own support by employing care staff, buying services or items to meet your care needs.
